Writing about Joel's "still life", reminded me of the scripture, "Be still and know that I am God." (Psalm 46:10) There was a song that stayed with me all through the summer. I couldn't get it out of my head and it was such a powerful reminder that I needed.

Everyday should be thanksgiving. Thanking God for each thing in our lives knowing that He is in control and loves us. We can be certain that He is by our side. Thank you Lord for your unfailing mercy.
