Chris's Garden Delights
We arrived earlier this year. This works well for Chris who loves to get the garden in shape. She works quite hard at it so that we can enjoy the beauty. We are required to sit outside daily with mom or the day is not complete! She has a gift. We have a rather funny story of having to elbow through a crowd of fisherman with beers in their hands at a Tavern where they sold flats of flowers. We walked away with 20 dollars worth for 5 dollars. They threw in a couple of asparagus ferns too! Only in the UP.

Wow! All of these pix are gorgous. I am jealous because my backyard is awful right now. Glen and I were just discussing what we need to do to landscape it. Maybe Chris will come and do it for us? In this heat, no one is going to be doing anything out there. The problem is that in the fall, life gets so busy, but I am determined to get it done soon!
By the way, I got your letter and I will answer soon. I leave tomorrow for CA for Joe's funeral. I wish I were there with you instead. It looks so relaxing.
Happy anniversary!
Tell Chris for me what a beautiful job she has done. She has so many gifts and abilities, I think maybe the gene pool got a little depleted when it came to me next, but of course after taking a break, renewed itself and bestowed it's gifts back on Ruth. Wow my head hurts now. I'm so glad you shared these pictures.
Love the pictures and Chris' contributions; i am trying to leave a post for you, but i don't see where to do it--i am able to figure out Mar's
Are you all okay with all the water you have now?????? We saw it on the news tonight even in Phoenix.
it is raining as i type; what is with this weather?
I am praying for Becky and John.
What about our John?
Love to all,
Dixie
I love to see comments! Helen, I was so sorry to hear of Joe's passing...
Mary...YOU are a gift and gifted to boot!

joel
Joel, we'll be here until October 21st! Wish you could be here too. When I posted this Chris's garden I thought of you because you helped to get it started and added your touch! Thank you.
Love you
Beautiful pictures, Ruthie. I think Chrissy did an outstanding job on her garden. It looks inviting to sit and look at it. Michigan is beautiful as ever. I'm sure the air is much more breathable there than here in CA.
Big hugs all around to you all there.
It truly is God's country. I can smell it, feel the air and now see it this summer by Blog; thanks, Chris for the flowers.... God's Blessings to All who visit this summer.
Geeminey Christmas, crimeny crunch you got a lot of comments on this one. I am so jealous.
