About Me

- Location: Northern Michigan, United States
I was a fulltime caregiver to my mother. I worked as a substitute teacher as well as an elementary librarian for twelve years before I left to care for mom. My husband, mother and I were snowbirds going back and forth to Michigan and Arizona. We are on our third winter here in the North. We are in a transition time right now.

Hi Ruth! Thanks for commenting on my blog! We need to get together asap. Pick a day because I am flexible. This week, Glen is off, so maybe next week would be better because I don't know what he has in mind. Our anniversary is on Friday. 29 years, I shall have to blog about that!
By the way, I am docface. Madalynn has a blog under my email and she is wilbur. That is why there are two names. Helen
Ruth, you make me laugh. My screen name is Docface with a "c". My dad used to call me Doc and Glen sometimes called me Dollface. So, I combined the two.
This is beautiful. Is this yours? I don't remember seeing this. I took the girls and Marky(he loved it of course) to see Enchanted. It was cute.
Hey Mare,
I would really like to see Enchanted. It sounded fun. Matt and I went to the Great Debaters at 10:15 pm Christmas night and were in the theatre alone! It was very good.
Oh...the Nativity hanging was given to mom by Lynn quite a few years ago. We like looking at it each year.
