Matt sent me this framed charcoal drawing he did recently. He has been taking a drawing class and waking his artistic side of the brain. This is a US Navy man statue overlooking the Pacific on a bluff. Matt told me that it was fun to draw outside because people would come up to him, look, and start a conversation. I love this! I was a fulltime caregiver to my mother. I worked as a substitute teacher as well as an elementary librarian for twelve years before I left to care for mom. My husband, mother and I were snowbirds going back and forth to Michigan and Arizona. We are on our third winter here in the North. We are in a transition time right now.

Wow that's a great picture. It is so much better than I even imagined when you described it. I'm so glad he is stirring up the gifts in him. What a great mother's day for you dear sister. You deserve it.
